The Amazing Race at Menlyn Maine and Time Square Casino is a popular team building activity in Pretoria East. This is a world-class team building event at affordable rates. Coffee and pastries are served at the Old Town Italy in Menlyn Maine - sometimes we get the private wine cellar. Menlyn Main is decorated with many abstract statues and art, and is the perfect set for an Amazing Race. Maine is an iconic coffee shop, deli and meeting place with relics dated back to yesteryear.

09h30 - Ice Breakers and Fun Group Activities
The entire group stand in a circle and are challenged with fun group activities.

09h30 - Dividing Teams ±10pp/team
The entire group stand in a circle and everybody get a number. All the “number 1’s” would be in a team, and all the “number 2’s” in another team, etc. Allow about ten people per team

09h30 - Amazing Race Imagination
This is a fun race against Imagination, Creativity, Riddles, and Raffles. Team have to complete a short detour, solve a puzzle, find iconic places, search for imaginary things, and finally complete a challenge, i.e. balancing a set of nails.

11h00 - Snack & Go Refreshments
We meet at Vida e Caffe for Assorted Wrapps and Soft Drinks. Assorted Wrapps include eggs and vegetarian options.

11h20 - Magic Company
Each team receives cash to buy tokens and play to win tickets. The team with the most tickets is the winner for this leg of the race. Team can redeem their tickets for prizes after the event.

12h00 - Amazing Race Time Square Casino
Each team receives cash to play the slots, the teams get to keep their winnings. We recommend the 5c and 50c slots to prolong the fun.

12h45 - View from the Top
Teams have to find this iconic spot with a panoramic view over Menlyn and Pretoria.

13h00 - Lunch at Mythos, Meze Style ("passing of dishes around the table")
A Mezze consist of many dishes that are passed around (share). The Meze may include Rump Strips, Beef Yiro (wrapps), Chicken Yiro, Haloumi Yiro, Haloumi Salad, Souvlaki (kebabs), Hake & Chips, Pita, Hummus, Tzatziki, Keftedes (meatballs), Biftekia (mince beef patties), Piatakia (thin lamb chops), Papoutsakia (stuffed eggplant topped with feta and Bechamel Sauce), Chicken Wings, Greek Salad, and Chips. Soft Drinks include 340ml can Coke, Sprite etc.

14h00 - Smashing Plates
The winning team get to smash the plates in the traditional of a good time and celebration.
